Nikon D3100 Problems???

OK...so I went online this morning to www.getondigital.com as they have/had the D3100 body listed for $244.
I ordered one.
Then I received an email asking me to call them for confirmation. I was told that the lot they had was defective (I didn't get details) and that there would be about a 6 weeks waiting time...
I canceled my order...
