Corn Cob modification?

I was looking at old pictures of Missouri Meerschaum cobs, and i noticed they made a kinda bulldog/Rhodesian style at one point. Im extremely interested in this shape, and i was trying to think of an easy modification to one of the existing styles too

Breaking In The Cob

Okay I picked up a 10 inch corn cob pipe on ebay from an estate. I got it pretty cheap and its got an oak shank ? Since It was sent near here it arrived day after mailing. I took it out and put some Walnut blend in it.. Wow.. Talk about nasty burnt taste.

Cob versus Briar

I really dig cobs. I started pipe smoking with a cob and Half and Half (yeah, and that stuff didn't turn me off of pipe smoking....go figure). Easy to smoke and on newer ones you get a nice corn taste coming through here and there (which I find amusing)
